WELCOME TO LAUREN MARTIN CREATIONS

When it comes to art, I appreciate an expression of how the artist uniquely views the world. When creating my own art, I tend to do this as well. An example or how I alter reality in a piece, would be by using complementary colors when in reality, the still life had a full spectrum of color. In order to further develop my art work, I intend to keep capturing compositions from real life. I would like to study the human form more with real models of all types of body imagery. Right now I am most familiar with acrylic which is what I use for most of my paintings. I would like to get out of my comfort zone by further experimenting with oil and watercolor paint.
